Global Warming Crisis: Dangerous Threshold Exceeded!

Planet Earth with lava and clouds.

Global warming is raising alarms about climate change!

A study led by Prof. Tim Lenton from Exeter University revealed that global warming has exceeded a climate threshold for the first time. This indicates that some ecosystems are suffering irreversible damage.

A weather map related to climate conditions.

Coral reefs are largely collapsing, and the temperature increase has reached 1.4°C. For corals to survive, temperatures must be reduced below 1.2°C.

Melting glaciers may have reached an irreversible point. This could lead to sea levels rising by meters. Additionally, the collapse of the Amazon rainforest and the potential halt of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation indicate that the climate crisis could have devastating effects on food, water, and weather conditions.

The report emphasizes that greenhouse gas emissions must be halved by 2030. It may be too late to act once thresholds are exceeded!

However, the spread of solar energy and electric vehicles shows that humanity still has the power to transform. There is still time to act!
