Volcanic Eruptions and Fires in Bursa: Emergency Response

Forest fires in Bursa are raising concerns about volcanic eruptions and movements.
The fire started in the grassland between the neighborhoods of Eğerce and Söğütpınar in Mudanya. The flames quickly spread to the forest due to the wind. Many firefighting teams were dispatched to the area to combat the fire.

In Yenişehir district of Bursa, another forest fire broke out. The response includes 41 personnel, 3 helicopters, 6 fire trucks, and 2 water tankers. The fire has grown rapidly due to the wind.

In addition to the fires, volcanic eruptions and movements have also been observed in some regions of Turkey. This reminds us of the need to be prepared for natural disasters.
Teams are working to extinguish the fires from both air and ground. Efforts to bring the fires under control are ongoing.
