The AK Party is continuing to grow with new memberships!

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik announced that council members and mayors will continue to join the AK Party in the coming days. Today, Seydişehir Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu, elected from CHP, and Emirgazi Mayor Mesut Mertcan, elected from the New Welfare Party, joined the AK Party.

President Erdoğan stated during the AK Party's 24th anniversary that the party will grow with new memberships. He also responded sharply to criticisms from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Ömer Çelik mentioned that "There will be more memberships from other parties in the coming days." This situation seems to strengthen the AK Party's strategy for local elections.

The AK Party is meticulously reviewing the backgrounds of new members. Those with corruption investigations or past issues will be rejected from joining.
