Minister Tunç made important statements regarding the CHP congress case at a press conference held at AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Presidency.

He stated that they are meeting with citizens as part of the Turkey Century Meetings. Tunç emphasized that the AK Party has been sensitive to the demands of the people for 24 years.

Highlighting the importance of democracy, Tunç recalled that 45 years have passed since the military coup of September 12, calling it a dark stain on democracy.

Tunç called for a new constitution, stating that it should be written by the representatives of the nation. He emphasized the importance of this process for Turkey to achieve high-standard democracy.

He noted that Turkey has been fighting terrorism for 41 years and has experienced great pain during this process. Efforts continue towards a terror-free Turkey.

Minister Tunç stated that the CHP tries to portray judicial processes as a political operation, but emphasized that the judiciary is independent. He expressed the need to respect the judiciary's decisions.
