Uğurcan Çakır made an emotional statement after transferring to Galatasaray. He dedicated the victory to his cousin who passed away.

Galatasaray defeated Eyüpspor 2-0 in the 5th week of the Trendyol Super League. After the match, Uğurcan stated, "I will fight to be worthy of the fans' love."

Uğurcan mentioned, "First matches are usually tough. It’s hard to adapt to the team. We are happy that we didn’t concede a goal today."

He stated that he frequently communicated with Muslera, saying, "I know Muslera likes me. I like him too. I hope to achieve the successes he has with Galatasaray."
