The explosion in Beyoğlu caused great panic during the night. The incident occurred in a three-story building's ground floor buffet in the Emekyemez neighborhood.

Istanbul Governor Davut Gül stated at the scene, "Thank God there are no fatalities or injuries. However, there is damage to nearby buildings," he said.

Cleaning operations were initiated after the explosion, and debris was removed from the site. Shopkeepers began cleaning the broken windows of their stores.
