Hurricane and storm disasters have affected Turkey. Firefighting efforts are ongoing!

The forest fire that started in Geyve, Sakarya, has spread to Osmaneli, Bilecik. Evacuations have occurred in four neighborhoods. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı shared the latest situation regarding the fires. The fire has spread rapidly due to the wind, and efforts continue.

In Eskişehir, firefighting efforts are also ongoing. The fire drew attention when a construction vehicle was caught in the flames. Teams are working hard to control the fire.

The smoke from the Bilecik fire has reached Eskişehir. Four villages have been evacuated due to the fire, and teams are continuing their efforts against the flames.

Fires have also affected provinces like Tekirdağ and Balıkesir. A total of 1,320 people have been evacuated, and 15 planes and 19 helicopters have been mobilized for firefighting efforts.

Minister Yumaklı stated that "Our teams have fought against 54 fires, and 51 of them have been brought under control." All teams are working in the field to control the fires.
