Earthquake in Greece! Tremors Felt in the Aegean Sea and Balkans

Recent earthquakes in Greece have increased seismic activity in the region.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake occurred on the island of Crete. This tremor was felt in the regions of Crete, as well as in the Peloponnese and Attica.

Another earthquake of 3.7 magnitude occurred in the Aegean Sea. Kandilli Observatory reported that this earthquake was near Thessaloniki.

The Geodynamic Institute in Greece reported a 5.2 magnitude earthquake near Gokceada, which was also felt in Turkey's provinces of Canakkale and Edirne.

Experts are evaluating the effects of these tremors on the fault lines in the region. The frequency of earthquakes indicates an increase in seismic activity in the area.
