In Amasya, heavy rains caused large rock fragments to break off in the Çakallar neighborhood. Residents woke up to a loud noise and panicked. Altan Eftelioğlu stated, 'We woke up to a loud noise. When we came to check, the rock had fallen.'

In Gümüşhane, a landslide caused a large rock mass to fall onto the road. Fortunately, a group of friends traveling by car narrowly escaped being trapped under the massive rock.

In Erzurum's Uzundere district, a rock fell onto a house's roof. Homeowner Ahmet Alkan expressed, 'My child and wife were very scared. I am waiting for help from the authorities.'
