The Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch identified 9 individuals who adopted Salafi views and were involved in activities linked to DEAŞ. These individuals were organizing alternative Friday prayers and meetings.

Following the prosecutor's arrest warrant, a simultaneous operation was conducted on December 26. The suspects were taken into custody and later brought to court, where they were detained.
