The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has issued important warnings to media outlets. In particular, it was noted that broadcasts related to the DEAŞ operation in Yalova violated confidentiality.

RTÜK emphasized that such broadcasts were prohibited to ensure the healthy conduct of the investigation. Additionally, it was stated that caution should be exercised against fraud attempts.

Recently, it was highlighted that fraud attempts using the name of RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin should be taken seriously. All such fraud attempts are stated to be fake.

RTÜK expressed that media outlets must adopt a careful and responsible broadcasting approach when informing the public. It was stated that necessary sanctions would be applied if such violations continue.
