Flood and Avalanche Disaster in Spain! Casualties Reported

Recent disasters in Spain have shocked the world with both floods and avalanches.

In the Panticosa municipality of Aragon, an avalanche occurred at an altitude of 2,600 meters. Tragically, 2 men and 1 woman lost their lives, while 3 others were rescued. The avalanche was caused by the breaking of an ice sheet.

Additionally, the Laurence storm caused severe flooding in the Andalusia region, resulting in 2 fatalities. Hundreds of people were evacuated, and schools were closed.

Authorities reported that approximately 370 homes near the overflowing rivers were evacuated. This situation required intense efforts from emergency response teams.
