Additionally, the latest situation in Somalia's fight against terrorism and steps taken towards national unity were also discussed. These topics formed an important agenda item along with regional developments.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also held meetings with the Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister, representatives of the Finland Islamic Community, and the Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister.
