In the Çiğli district of Izmir, 73-year-old Hamit Öğretim collapsed while waiting for a train. A healthcare worker present at the station immediately intervened, performing CPR and using an automatic defibrillator. Thanks to this quick response, Öğretim regained a pulse and was taken to the hospital.

On the same day, 49-year-old İlker Hamurişçi also suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized. Thanks to the cooling treatment applied, he returned to life without brain damage. Hamurişçi described his experience as a miracle.
