The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that snow and rain are coming to our country. Temperatures will drop, and caution is advised.

Partly cloudy weather is expected in the northern and eastern regions of the country. Rainfall is expected in the Marmara, Aegean, and Mediterranean regions, especially in major cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.

It is predicted that temperatures will be significantly below seasonal norms, dropping by 6 to 10 degrees. Strong winds are also expected, which may cause disruptions in transportation.

Meteorology warns citizens about the avalanche risk, especially in the Eastern Anatolia and Eastern Black Sea regions, where there is a significant snow cover.

Rainfall is expected to be locally strong in the Western Black Sea coasts, Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia, so caution is necessary.
