The deepening economic crisis in Turkey is affecting many companies. Recently, companies owned by Bora Mehmet Osmalı, the Head of Foreign Relations of the AKP Eskişehir Provincial Presidency, declared concordat.

The Eskişehir Commercial Court granted a 3-month temporary period for Osmalı's companies. During this time, the company will not pay its debts. Economic difficulties are also affecting AKP executives.

As the number of companies declaring concordat increases, it is noted that this situation may create a domino effect in the economy. Creditor firms are also negatively impacted by this situation.

Industrialists state that the concordat process focuses only on protecting companies at risk of bankruptcy, while creditor businesses face serious financial difficulties due to unpaid debts.

It is emphasized that to maintain economic stability, solid companies owed by those declaring concordat must also be legally protected. Otherwise, the effects of the debt crisis may spread rapidly.
