Ümit Özdağ Faces Up to 4 Years in Prison

The prosecutor requested a sentence of up to 4 years and 8 months for Özdağ. He mentioned, "The prosecutor wants me punished, and I have requested time for a written defense."
Özdağ emphasized, "This is not democracy; criticizing the opposition is deemed forbidden." The trial has been postponed to December 24.
