Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is Visiting Italy

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will make an official visit to Italy on September 11-12. Bilateral relations and collaborations will be discussed during this visit.
Fidan aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between Turkey and Italy by meeting with Italian Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani.
During the visit, cooperation opportunities in energy security and irregular migration will also be discussed. These issues are of great importance for both countries.
Fidan's views on the genocide in Gaza and Turkey-EU relations will also be on the agenda. These issues are drawing the attention of the international community.
It is aimed to reach a trade volume of 40 billion dollars between Italy and Turkey. It is emphasized that cooperation areas should be diversified to achieve this goal.
