Balıkesir's Sındırgı district is shaking with a series of earthquakes. A 4.5 magnitude quake was recorded at 23:03.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.93 kilometers. Earlier in the day, tremors of 4.9 and 4.1 magnitudes were also felt.

Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu stated on social media that all teams from AFAD and other relevant institutions are on the ground and that there are no negative reports.

Residents of Sındırgı expressed that they felt the tremors seriously. This situation is causing concern among the public. However, officials emphasize that necessary precautions are being taken.
