Operations against DAESH in Istanbul continue without slowing down. Recently, 19 arrests were made during the latest operations.

Under the investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, raids were conducted at addresses linked to the DAESH terrorist organization. In these raids, 19 suspects were detained, including 10 foreign nationals.

The detained suspects were found to have made pro-terrorist posts on social media and used applications for the organization's communication. Their interrogations are currently ongoing.

Additionally, other operations in Istanbul have recorded arrests of 17, 16, 9, and 6 suspects, respectively. These operations are seen as significant steps to counter DAESH's activities in Turkey.
