The Republican People's Party held its 20th Extraordinary Statute Congress from September 6-9, 2024, where significant decisions were made. It was stated that the party program would be renewed in accordance with the requirements of the era.

During the Organization Representatives Assembly meeting, the approach documents prepared on state, governance, and democracy were evaluated. CHP aims to establish universal standards in the field of rights and freedoms, based on parliamentary democracy.

In the field of development and economy, CHP presented a program based on social democratic principles, aiming to eliminate the cost of living. A public approach will be adopted in fundamental rights areas.

In foreign policy, CHP aims to take steps to quickly integrate Turkey into the European Union. A democracy, welfare, and security-oriented foreign policy will be pursued in this regard.

The new program draft will be presented for approval at the 39th Ordinary Congress. CHP will continue its tradition as a program party and aim for a significant leap in democracy and development in Turkey.
