A fire broke out in Alanya early in the morning, quickly spreading due to the wind. The fire started in a grassy area in Payallar and jumped to nearby greenhouses.

Upon notification, numerous firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighters, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. Two greenhouses were damaged, and approximately 2 acres of grassy land turned to ashes.

An investigation has been launched regarding the cause of the fire. Damage assessment works are ongoing in the area following the fire.

This fire disaster poses a threat to agricultural areas in Alanya. It is emphasized that more measures should be taken to prevent such incidents.
