A new pilot station has been opened at the Bosphorus!
The Captain Fahrettin Aksu Pilot Station opened in Kadıköy will play an important role in maritime transportation. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu emphasized its strategic importance.
Minister Uraloğlu stated how important it is for Turkey to control the Bosphorus and Dardanelles. This station will provide a comfortable working environment for pilot captains.
In the first 8 months of 2025, 26,264 ships passed through the Bosphorus. Ensuring the safety of this heavy traffic requires great responsibility.
