Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır held an important meeting with Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Muhammed Nidal Eş-Şaar. This meeting evaluated cooperation opportunities between the two countries.

During the meeting, a ‘Cooperation Protocol on the Modernization of Industry and Productive Sectors’ was signed. This protocol will pave the way for significant developments in the industrial sector.

Additionally, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya also met with the Syrian Interior Minister. Topics such as security cooperation and the return of Syrians were discussed.

Minister Kacır stated that Turkey will continue to take various steps to strengthen its relations with Syria. Such meetings will reinforce the friendship between the two countries.
