The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has issued a new warning to media outlets. RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin made stern remarks against opposition broadcasters.

Şahin emphasized that broadcasters must adhere to press and broadcasting principles and stated that there will be no tolerance for broadcasts that threaten public order. Heavy penalties will be imposed for such broadcasts.
