MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made important statements regarding the forest fires. He expressed his sorrow for the sons of the homeland who lost their lives.

Bahçeli stated, "As we fight fiercely against forest fires, our lungs are burning. The relevant state institutions, volunteer aid organizations, and search and rescue teams are mobilized to combat the fires," he said.

Bahçeli added, "Receiving the sad news of our brave sons who strive to protect our greenery and forests saddens us all," expressing his condolences.

He also wished for a speedy recovery for those currently under treatment.
