CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol emphasized that there should be no leader dominance in political parties. He stated that political parties should be based on the will of the people.

Erol pointed out that not only new laws but also a fundamental change in the political structure is necessary. He argued that the Political Parties Law should be amended before any constitutional changes.

Stating that "the fight against terrorism should be a state policy, not a party policy," Erol emphasized the need for a decisive state strategy in this regard.

Erol also mentioned that the new constitution should be based on institutions and rules rather than personal wills.

Expressing that leader-centered structures in political parties harm democracy, Erol stated that these structures should come to an end.
