The deputy mayor election in Manavgat was held with excitement. CHP candidate Mehmet Çiçek was elected with 20 votes.

This election was held after the arrest of Mayor Niyazi Nefi Kara and 7 CHP council members. CHP regained the majority by including substitute members in the council.

The election took place at the Side Ek Hizmet Binası. CHP's candidate Mehmet Çiçek competed against Süleyman Öz from AKP and MHP.

As a result of the voting, Çiçek secured 20 votes, reinforcing CHP's political power in Manavgat.
