Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa, passed away. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel delivered an emotional speech at the funeral.

Zeyrek's funeral was attended by thousands of people in Manisa. Özel expressed his condolences, saying, "Rest in peace, brother."

At the funeral, Zeyrek's wife Nurcan shared her dreams, saying, "I have a lot of work to do."

Özgür Özel could not hold back his tears and emphasized the great loss for Manisa. The funeral prayer was held in Cumhuriyet Square.
