CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol made significant statements regarding pension salaries.

Erol emphasized that the expectation for pension increases for retirees with a base salary below 10,000 TL is dependent on legal regulations. He called on the Parliament to prioritize this issue.

He stated, "The condition of retirees is not an advertisement, but a matter of conscience." Erol expressed that he heard thousands of complaints from retirees he spoke with.

Erol urged that "the struggle for survival should not be sacrificed for political calculations," and called for the regulation to be enacted before July 1.

He stressed that the economic difficulties faced by retirees should not be overlooked and called on all political parties to address this issue.
