The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a new operation against CHP municipalities. In this operation, 30 people, including mayors, have been arrested.

The operation was carried out as part of corruption investigations against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). Among those arrested is former CHP MP Aykut Erdoğdu.
