Heavy rain in Antalya and Izmir has led to flooding.

In Antalya's Aksu district and Izmir's Foça district, roads have turned into lakes. The rain started in the morning and intensified by noon, causing water accumulation in streets and flooding some homes and businesses.

In Aksu, the heavy rain particularly affected the Barbaros neighborhood, turning roads into lakes. Vehicles struggled to navigate through the accumulated water.

Municipal teams carried out water drainage operations. Drivers and citizens worked to clear the drains. The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality teams were also actively involved in these efforts.

In Izmir, heavy rain also negatively impacted life in the Foça district. Water accumulation formed in some streets and avenues. Municipal teams took precautions after the rain and began water drainage operations.
