President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, for an official visit. This visit is in response to an invitation from Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al Sani and other officials.

During the visit, Erdoğan is expected to hold bilateral talks with the Emir of Qatar and participate in the Turkey-Qatar 11th High Strategic Committee Meeting. He will also attend the signing ceremony of several agreements.

Such official visits contribute to strengthening the relations between the two countries. Erdoğan's visit is of great importance for regional cooperation as well.
