Cerkezkoy Mayor Vahap Akay made striking statements at the CHP Tekirdag Provincial Congress.

Akay recalled that his party had given him the candidacy again for the March 31 elections, expressing his concerns about some party members working for different parties during the election process.

Akay stated, "During the March 31 election period, my party gave me the candidacy for the third time in Cerkezkoy. However, I saw some names working for AK Party, IYI Party, and HDP," expressing his discontent.

In moments of rising tension in the congress hall, Akay said, "I address the accusers. May those who fear you be like you. If you do not attack harder, you are dishonorable."

Akay criticized the party's leadership, stating, "If the solution is to expel us, then do so. This path is not the right one."
