Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a high-level summit with Hamas in Qatar. This meeting is of great importance regarding the humanitarian situation and ceasefire negotiations in the region.

During the meeting, the seriousness of the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the latest status of ceasefire negotiations were discussed. Fidan emphasized Turkey's ongoing efforts on international platforms regarding this issue.

The Hamas side stated that the humanitarian aid entering Gaza is insufficient and expressed their continued efforts for a permanent ceasefire.
