Mansur Yavaş continues to attract attention as the Mayor of Ankara. Recently, developments regarding the investigation initiated by the Ministry of Interior against Yavaş have been in the spotlight.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested permission to investigate Yavaş and his Chief of Staff, Nevzat Uzunoğlu. This request was made due to allegations related to the municipality's concert expenditures.

Yavaş stated that there was no public loss according to the inspectors' investigations. However, the prosecutor's office claims that a loss of 154 million lira has occurred.

The Ministry of Interior has given Yavaş a week to prepare his defense. Yavaş has expressed his willingness to voluntarily provide a statement during this process.
