Hurricane and storm disaster is approaching! Weather alerts are drawing attention.

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rainfall is expected in many regions of Turkey in the new week. Particularly, the Southern Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia will experience significant rainfall. Temperatures are expected to drop in northern and inland areas.

In particular, mixed rain and snow are expected in the highlands of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia. This situation may lead to transportation disruptions.

Temperatures are expected to be below seasonal norms. For example, temperatures in Istanbul may drop to 19 degrees, while in Adana, it may remain around 28 degrees.

Meteorology emphasized the need for caution in areas where winds are expected to be strong. This could lead to storm disasters.
