A forest fire has started in Izmir Menderes!

The fire broke out in the Çile neighborhood around 12:30 PM, and response teams including 8 planes and 8 helicopters from the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry have been dispatched. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

The General Directorate of Forestry stated, 'We have reduced the energy of the fire, and our struggle to control it continues.'
