In Tatvan, Bitlis, a family was attacked by a bear while visiting Nemrut Crater Lake. The attack on a citizen holding a baby was captured on a mobile phone.

During the incident, there was great panic, but it was learned that the family's health condition is good. The footage shows nearby citizens fleeing in fear.

Experts emphasized that encounters between bears and humans are undesirable and that such incidents pose risks for both parties.

Warnings were also issued against swimming around the lake, as bears come to the shore to drink and swim.

To prevent such incidents, visitors were advised not to leave food out in the open and not to feed the bears.
