Climate change is affecting Turkey just like the rest of the world. In Cizre, temperatures have soared to 47 degrees.

Shopkeeper Tahir Bozkurt mentioned that he has to close his shop and rest due to the heat. His monthly electricity bill has reached 11-12 thousand TL.

Citizens in Cizre are finding it difficult to go outside due to the extreme heat. They are hoping for similar support from authorities during the summer months.

Yusuf Üzen suggested that solar energy systems could provide electricity from the sun to Cizre. This would save energy and help alleviate the temperature issue.
