Flight traffic record broken in Turkish airspace.

A historic day in Turkish airspace!

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that two new records have been set in Turkish airspace for daily transit flights and total aircraft traffic. On July 13, 2025, we reached the highest daily transit flight number ever with 1745 flights.

Uraloğlu stated that on July 12, we achieved another historic success with 6110 flights. This figure demonstrates that Turkish airspace serves as a significant air corridor between Europe, the Gulf, and Asian countries.

Turkey's geopolitical position increases interest in air travel investments. We are centrally located, providing access to 67 countries with a population of 1.5 billion people.

Uraloğlu emphasized that Turkish airspace functions as an air bridge between Europe, the Gulf, and Asian countries. This achievement highlights the international significance of Turkish aviation once again.
