Climate change and global warming are having an impact worldwide, including in Turkey. Recently, temperatures exceeding 40 degrees highlight this issue.

According to the data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, on August 9, temperatures exceeded 40 degrees in 22 provinces of Turkey. The highest temperature was recorded in Defne district of Hatay at 47.8 degrees.
