Fire Disaster: 40 Acres of Agricultural Land Turned to Ash

The fire disaster occurred in Ortaboğaz village. During the baling process in the agricultural field, a fire broke out and quickly spread, affecting 40 acres of land.
Citizens who saw the fire immediately reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Many fire and forest teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control by the rapid intervention of the teams.

In the fire, a total of 40 acres of agricultural land were damaged, including 25 acres of planted crops. The bales in the fields were completely turned to ash. An investigation has been initiated regarding the fire.
A similar fire incident occurred in Çankırı. A forest fire in the Ilgaz district was extinguished by the teams' intervention, with approximately 40 hectares of land reported to be damaged.
In Kastamonu, a stubble fire spread to the forest, damaging 10 hectares of land. A fire-fighting helicopter was also used in the incident.
