Floods and Earthquakes: Turkey's Battle with Natural Disasters

Recent natural disasters in Turkey, especially floods and earthquakes, continue to worry the public.

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Samsun. AFAD reported the depth of the earthquake as 19.43 kilometers. Such events show how suddenly natural disasters can happen.

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake also occurred in the Aegean Sea. Kandilli Observatory recorded the depth of this earthquake as 10.3 kilometers. This indicates that seismic activity in the region continues.

In Osmaniye Kadirli, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake was experienced. Such earthquakes require the public to be prepared. AFAD continuously provides information on this matter.

Lastly, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Kütahya. This situation reminds us once again how common natural disasters are in different regions of Turkey.
