Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş made significant remarks at the ceremony for the introduction of new vehicles by Bandırma Municipality.

Dedetaş stated, "We are going through very difficult times as municipalities. The pressures created by the politicization of the judiciary affect all municipalities."

The mayor also highlighted the situation of imprisoned mayors, saying, "In these oppressive days, we strive to deliver our services with enthusiasm."

Stating that Üsküdar has become number one among districts fulfilling their promises in a year, Dedetaş provided information about urban transformation projects.

"We have doubled our social supports. Our efforts continue to benefit many segments from children to the elderly, and from youth to women," she added.

Dedetaş concluded, "We will continue to ensure that urban transformation does not become a profit-driven transformation, while preserving the neighborhood culture of Üsküdar and enabling citizens to have proper and economical transformations."
