Floods and Earthquakes: Turkey's Battle with Natural Disasters

Recent natural disasters in Turkey, especially floods and earthquakes, have raised concerns among the public. A 4 magnitude earthquake occurred in Sivas, and AFAD is closely monitoring the situation.

The earthquake that occurred at 10:26 in the Gürün district of Sivas was recorded at a depth of 7 kilometers. After the earthquake, AFAD teams began scanning the area, and so far, no negative reports have been received.

AFAD stated regarding the earthquake in Sivas, "So far, no negative reports have been received by the 112 Emergency Call Center." Such natural disasters require the public to be prepared.
