The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that temperatures will drop by 10 degrees on September 18, 2025. This will particularly affect the Erzincan and Bayburt regions.

According to the forecasts, thunderstorms and downpours are expected across the region. Strong winds are also anticipated.

On Friday and Saturday, winds are expected to blow from the west-northwest at moderate to strong levels. Temperatures are forecasted to drop below seasonal norms.

Meteorology predicts moderate to locally strong rainfall in the northern and eastern parts of Erzurum. Therefore, it is important for citizens to be cautious.

A decrease of 6-10 degrees in temperatures is expected. However, temperatures are anticipated to rise again starting from Monday.
