Ümit Özdağ announced that they are closely monitoring the fire near Eymir Lake in Ankara. The fire threatens the ODTÜ forest.

Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated, "All institutions are working together to extinguish the fire as soon as possible."

The fire started in the forested area around Eymir Lake and spread rapidly. The wind is making it difficult to control the flames.

Mansur Yavaş also warned about the strong storm expected today, which could cause roof collapses and fallen trees.

Roads around Eymir Lake have been closed to traffic, and access to the area has been restricted. All teams are mobilized to bring the fire under control.
