Drought and Erosion Issues: Water Levels Are Sounding Alarm

Drought is alarming in many regions of Turkey. As water levels drop, livestock farmers are facing difficulties.
In Müsellim Neighborhood, the lake has been losing water since the beginning of summer, leading to deep cracks. Neighborhood head İbrahim Yıldız stated, "Due to high temperatures and drought, the lake is almost at the point of drying up."
In Tekirdağ's Değirmenaltı Neighborhood, drought has caused the creek to dry up completely, negatively affecting the ecosystem. Head Selin Denizci stated, "The ecological system is finished here."
Drought and erosion issues threaten both nature and agriculture. What can we do to overcome this situation?
