European Union and United Nations: Security and Cooperation

The European Union and United Nations are taking significant steps for Ukraine's security. In this process, Ukraine's critical role in Eastern Europe is emphasized.
The EU states that it is the biggest supporter of this struggle with its military and economic support to Ukraine. President Donald Trump's support for providing security guarantees to Ukraine is seen as a critical step in this regard.

Leaders emphasize the need to establish a new security framework that includes the US. "Now is the time to establish a strong and permanent security mechanism similar to NATO's Article 5 that includes the US." they state.
Calls to Russia are reiterated, stating that violence must cease immediately. The EU announces that existing sanctions will continue and new measures may be introduced if aggressive behavior persists.

EU Council President Antonio Costa states that cooperation with like-minded NATO partners is vital for international security. This cooperation is also critical for Ukraine's defense.
